PENOSIL SpeedFix Clear 909 – Transparent Flexible Construction Adhesive 290 ml

PENOSIL SpeedFix Clear 909 is a transparent, solvent-based construction adhesive designed for invisible bonding and sealing in various building applications. It provides fast and strong adhesion while remaining flexible after curing.

The adhesive ensures excellent bonding strength to most common construction substrates without the need for priming. It is suitable for indoor and outdoor use and is resistant to UV radiation, weather exposure, temperature fluctuations and water. The product does not shrink during curing and can be painted after full cure.

Supplied in a 290 ml plastic cartridge (12 pcs per box).

Application & Usage

Suitable for:

• Structural fixing works

• Bonding and sealing glass joints

• Bonding organic glass and decorative elements where transparency is required

• Fixing and sealing glazing profiles for greenhouses, garden houses and terraces

• Joining floor, skirting and other butt joints

• Bonding panels, profiles, door and window frames

• Fixing mailboxes and signs

• Securing worktops to cabinets

• Fixing toilets to floors

Application temperature: +5 °C to +30 °C.

Surfaces must be clean, dry and free from dust, grease and oil. Non-porous substrates may be damp. Apply adhesive in dots or beads (2–5 mm).

Application methods:

• One-sided wet bonding: Apply adhesive to one surface and press immediately together. Provide mechanical support for at least 24 hours.

• Two-sided contact bonding: Apply adhesive, press together briefly, separate and wait 3–5 minutes. Then press firmly together and keep under pressure. At least one surface must be porous to allow solvent evaporation.

Ensure good ventilation during application and curing.

Cleaning:
Uncured adhesive can be removed with solvent. Cured adhesive must be removed mechanically.

Limitations:

• Not suitable for aquarium or underwater sealing

• Test before use on natural stone

• Not compatible with polyethylene, polypropylene or polystyrene foam

• Adhesion test recommended on unknown materials

• Do not use below +5 °C
