RivePipe reusable formwork wall tube

The RivePipe system is a patented, removable and reusable wall tube designed for concrete formwork. It serves as a protective sleeve for tie-bars and creates a clean, uniform circular hole in the concrete once removed.
It enables leaving a clean gap within the concrete wall, without any permanent plastic tube remaining, which allows for subsequent sealing or waterproofing operations.

Usage:

• Installed during the assembly of wall formwork, between form panels, to protect tie rods or through-tie systems and to define the location of the hole.

• After concrete pour and formwork removal, the RivePipe tube is extracted quickly using the dedicated extraction tool (RiveOut), leaving a clean hole ready for further treatment.

• Particularly useful in concrete wall construction or renovation where subsequent sealing or waterproofing of tie-holes is required.

• Outer diameter: approx. 26 / 29 mm with inner bore approx. 19.5 / 22 mm (for tie-bar diameters 15–19 mm).

• Length: adaptable to wall thickness.

• Compression resistance: ~1,000 kgf (≈ 11,378 psi) in rigid plastic version.

• Extraction: performed using the dedicated RiveOut tool on both sides after concrete setting.

Installation & Use Recommendations:

• Position the RivePipe tube between formwork panels before pouring concrete, selecting the correct diameter and length.

• After curing, remove with the RiveOut tool from both sides of the wall.

• The resulting hole can then be sealed with systems such as RiveStop.

• Store tubes in a dry place and reuse according to manufacturer guidelines.

Instalkation and usage:

1. Insert RivePipe for rebar protection

   

2. Pour concrete into the formwork and allow to set

   

3. Pull out the RivePipe from both sides of the wall

   

4. Throw the two parts of RivePipe into the bucket for later reuse
