Description

Specifications

The Simpson Strong-Tie BAN wind bracing strap is designed for the anchoring and bracing of timber roof and wall structures. It is used as a tensile bracing element to increase structural stability and resistance against wind loads in timber construction systems.

Manufactured from S250GD steel with a Z275 galvanized coating according to DIN EN 10346, the strap provides reliable corrosion protection and durability for construction applications. Stainless steel versions are also available for environments requiring enhanced corrosion resistance.

BAN wind bracing straps are commonly used in roof bracing systems, wall bracing applications and timber structures where tensile reinforcement is required. For proper performance, the strap must be tensioned in the completed structure.

Key Features:

  • Wind bracing and anchoring strap
  • Manufactured from S250GD steel
  • Z275 galvanized coating
  • Corrosion protection on both sides
  • Suitable for timber structures
  • Designed for tensile load applications
  • Can be installed in parallel for increased load capacity
  • Compatible with BNSP tensioning devices
