PENOSIL Elastic Gunfoam 198 is a one-component polyurethane gun foam designed for sealing pressure-sensitive and moving joints, filling gaps and performing installation works. The foam is elastic, easily compressible and restores its original shape after compression, making it especially suitable for window and door installation.

The product features very low expansion pressure, allowing safe application in fragile structures. It provides good adhesion to common construction materials such as wood, concrete, masonry, brick, most metals, gypsum boards, EPS and roof tiles. Supplied in a 1000 ml aerosol can with 800 ml content, it is intended for use with a foam gun for precise dosing and economical application.

Application & Usage:

Designed for professional installation and sealing works where movement or vibration may occur. Suitable for:

• Installation and sealing of windows and doors

• Filling pressure-sensitive and narrow joints

• Insulation of ventilation devices and pipes

• Filling significantly moving joints and cavities

• Thermal and sound insulation

• Reduction of thermal bridges

Application temperature range: from -5 °C to +30 °C (best results at +20 °C).
Can temperature during application: +5 °C to +25 °C (optimal at +20 °C).

Shake the can at least 20 times before use. Use only with a foam gun, keeping the can upside down during application. Surfaces must be clean from dust, dirt and oil. Pre-moistening the surface improves curing and final result.

Limitations:

Cured foam is sensitive to UV radiation and must be covered.
Not suitable for permanent contact with water.
Does not adhere to polyethylene (PE), PTFE (Teflon®) or silicone surfaces.
Do not use at temperatures below -5 °C.

Extremely flammable aerosol. Pressurized container. Contains isocyanates. Professional training required before industrial or professional use (from 24 August 2023).
