PENOSIL Fire Rated Gunfoam B1 187 Fire Resistant PU Foam 750 ml

PENOSIL Fire Rated Gunfoam B1 187 is a professional fire-resistant polyurethane gun foam with low secondary expansion, designed for demanding applications where certified fire performance is required. The product is suitable for sealing and installation works in areas with increased fire safety requirements.

Fire resistance has been tested according to EN 1366-4. Fire resistance classification according to EN 13501-2 and reaction to fire according to DIN 4102-1. The foam achieves fire resistance up to 240 minutes and is classified as B1 (DIN) and B-s1,d0 (EN).

The foam provides uniform structure, high mechanical strength and excellent adhesion to common building materials. Supplied in a 1000 ml aerosol can with 750 ml content, intended for application with a foam gun.

Application & Usage:

Suitable for:

• Installation of fire-rated doors and windows

• Sealing joints in fire-rated walls

• Reducing thermal bridges

Adheres to wood, concrete, masonry, brick, most metals, gypsum boards, EPS and roof tiles.

Application conditions:
Air temperature: +5 °C to +30 °C (optimal +20 °C)
Can temperature: +10 °C to +25 °C (optimal +20 °C)

Shake the can at least 20 times before use. Attach to a foam gun and apply with the can held upside down. Surfaces must be clean from dust, dirt and oil. Lightly moisten substrates for improved curing.

Limitations:

Cured foam is sensitive to UV radiation and must be covered.
Not suitable for permanent contact with water.
Does not adhere to polyethylene (PE), PTFE (Teflon®) or silicone surfaces.

Safety:

Extremely flammable aerosol. Pressurized container. Contains isocyanates (including 4,4’-methylenediphenyl diisocyanate isomers and homologues). Professional training required before industrial or professional use (from 24 August 2023). Use appropriate respiratory protection in poorly ventilated areas.
