PENOSIL Universal Silicone 315 / 315c is an acid-curing silicone sealant designed for general sealing applications in both interior and exterior environments. It offers reliable adhesion and flexible performance across a wide range of construction and repair tasks.

The sealant provides excellent adhesion to materials such as metal, glass, glazed surfaces, ceramic tiles, painted surfaces and treated wood. It remains permanently elastic after curing and is resistant to UV exposure, moisture and mould, making it suitable for long-term sealing applications.

The product features good workability, allowing easy application and smoothing, with extended processing time for precise joint finishing. It does not slump in joints, ensuring controlled and clean application.

Supplied in a 280 ml cartridge, it is applied using a standard sealant gun for efficient and consistent sealing work.

Application & Usage

This silicone sealant is used for sealing joints and connections in construction and repair works. It is suitable for general sealing applications where flexibility and durability are required.

Typical applications include sealing joints between glass, metal, ceramic tiles and painted surfaces, as well as general sealing tasks in bathrooms, kitchens and exterior structures. It is commonly used in construction, renovation and maintenance work.

Surfaces must be clean, dry and free from dust, grease and contaminants before application. The sealant is applied using a cartridge gun and smoothed after application for a uniform finish.

Not suitable for use on natural stone, certain metals (lead, copper, brass, zinc), bituminous or cement-based materials, or for underwater applications. The sealant is not paintable.
