Description

Specifications

Decking screw 4.2 x 41 mm is designed for fastening decking boards to wooden substructures in outdoor environments. It ensures secure anchoring in wood while reducing the risk of surface damage and installation time.

The screw features a sharp cutting drill tip and specially adapted thread geometry for efficient penetration and grip in wood. Oblique and longitudinal flanks between the threads improve cutting performance and reduce resistance during installation. Grooves under the countersunk head allow clean embedding of the screw head approximately 2 mm into the decking surface.

Manufactured from case hardened steel and coated with Zincotech Au coating, the screw meets corrosivity class C4 requirements, making it suitable for outdoor use. The screw is installed using a TX20 bit. Recommended installation is with a power screwdriver equipped with a depth stop.
