DOMAX PPSR Adjustable Post Base for Concrete, Height Adjustable

The DOMAX PPSR Adjustable Post Base is designed for the secure installation of timber posts into concrete foundations. Its full-thread height adjustment allows precise vertical positioning of the post after installation, making it ideal where accurate alignment is required.

Manufactured from steel, the post base is intended for vertical loads only and provides a durable connection between timber structures and concrete foundations. The adjustable threaded system simplifies installation and allows compensation for small height differences during assembly.

The DMX three-dimensional timber connector system is engineered for structural wood-to-wood, wood-to-concrete, and wood-to-steel connections. It is suitable for creating load-bearing timber joints that meet the mechanical strength requirements defined by Regulation (EU) No. 305/2011.

For installation, round-shank nails compliant with EN 14592+A1 (minimum diameter 4 mm) should be used as specified by the manufacturer. Connectors are suitable for timber structures in Service Classes 1, 2 and 3 (versions with additional powder coating) according to EN 1995-1-1 (Eurocode 5) and corrosivity categories C1 and C2 according to EN ISO 12944-2.
