EISEDICHT D1 Tyvek® Cable Sealing Grommet 8–12 mm – EPDM, 150 × 150 mm

EISEDICHT D1 Tyvek® cable sealing grommet 8–12 mm is a one-piece airtight sealing grommet designed for quick and airtight sealing of cables and lines at airtight and windtight building layers. It is designed according to DIN 4108-7 and DIN 18015-5.

The grommet features a highly flexible 30 mm high EPDM anti-kink sleeve, providing a permanently flexible seal around the cable or line. Integrated strain relief helps reduce mechanical loading on the sealed penetration.

A 150 × 150 mm Tyvek® adhesive collar is self-adhesive and tear-resistant, providing a durable connection to the airtight layer. The collar uses an extremely strong polyacrylate adhesive.

The D1 Tyvek® cable grommet has a temperature resistance from -30 °C to +100 °C, is UV-resistant and halogen-free, and can be installed from +5 °C. It is suitable for indoor and outdoor applications, is GTÜ tested, and carries the Passive House seal.

Applications & Usage

The EISEDICHT D1 Tyvek® cable sealing grommet is intended for airtight sealing of 8–12 mm cables and lines where they penetrate or connect to airtight and windtight building layers.

The flexible EPDM sleeve forms a durable flexible seal around the line, while the 150 × 150 mm self-adhesive Tyvek® collar creates the connection to the airtight layer.

Typical sealing applications include cables, lines and similar penetrations in interior and exterior building-envelope construction.
