EISEDICHT DD3 Tyvek® Double Cable Sealing Grommet – 2 × 4–8 / 8–12 / 12–15 mm

EISEDICHT DD3 Tyvek® double cable sealing grommet is a one-piece airtight sealing grommet designed for quick and airtight sealing of two cables or lines at airtight and windtight building layers. It is designed according to DIN 4108-7 and DIN 18015-5.

The DD3 double cable grommet is available for two lines with diameters of 2 × 4–8 mm, 2 × 8–12 mm and 2 × 12–15 mm. It features two highly flexible 30 mm high EPDM anti-kink sleeves, providing a permanently flexible seal around both lines. Integrated strain relief helps reduce mechanical loading on the sealed penetrations.

The 2 × 4–8 mm and 2 × 8–12 mm versions use a 150 × 150 mm Tyvek® adhesive collar, while the 2 × 12–15 mm version has a larger 230 × 230 mm Tyvek® adhesive collar. The collars are self-adhesive and tear-resistant and use an extremely strong polyacrylate adhesive for connection to the airtight layer.

The EISEDICHT DD3 Tyvek® is suitable for indoor and outdoor applications, with a specified temperature resistance of -30 °C to +100 °C and installation from +5 °C. It is UV-resistant, halogen-free, GTÜ tested and carries the Passive House seal.

Applications & Usage

The EISEDICHT DD3 double cable sealing grommet is intended for airtight sealing of two cables or lines where they pass through or connect to airtight and windtight building layers.

The two flexible EPDM sleeves form individual flexible seals around both lines, while the integrated strain relief supports the sealed penetrations. The self-adhesive Tyvek® collar provides a durable connection to the airtight layer.

Typical applications include double cable penetrations, paired lines and similar installations in interior and exterior building-envelope construction.
