Makita XGT® 40Vmax Battery 5.0 Ah BL4050F

The Makita BL4050F is a 40Vmax XGT® Li-ion battery with 5.0 Ah capacity, designed for use with Makita XGT® series power tools. With an energy capacity of 180 Wh, it is a powerful general-purpose battery suitable for tools with high power demand and for continuous, intensive applications.

The battery features a 4-LED fuel gauge that clearly shows the remaining charge at the touch of a button. Digital communication between the tool and the battery enables optimal power delivery and monitoring of operating conditions, allowing a higher potential discharge rate compared to LXT batteries. An internal cooling system supports maximum runtime and service life.

The BL4050F is designed for increased resistance to water and impact compared to LXT Li-ion batteries, making it better suited for harsh jobsite environments. The screw-type construction allows easier disassembly for recycling at end of life. Typical charge time with a fast charger is approximately 50 minutes.
