The Makita XGT® GA005G is a professional-grade 40V Max cordless 125 mm angle grinder engineered for demanding cutting and grinding applications. Powered by a high-performance brushless motor, it delivers performance comparable to a 1000 W corded angle grinder, making it suitable for heavy-duty construction, metalworking and concrete cutting tasks.

The grinder operates at 8,500 RPM and features a 125 mm disc with an M14 spindle thread and 22.23 mm bore. It offers a maximum cutting depth of 34 mm and is ideal for use with grinding, cutting and diamond discs. The tool incorporates Active Feedback Sensing Technology (AFT), which automatically stops the motor if the disc suddenly jams, improving operator safety. Additional features include XPT (eXtreme Protection Technology) for improved dust and moisture resistance, an electronic brake, soft start, overload protection and restart protection (NVR).
