Makita XGT® DC40RA Fast Charger for 40V Max Li-Ion Batteries

The Makita XGT® DC40RA is a fast charger designed for charging Makita 40V Max XGT® Li-Ion batteries. The charger utilizes intelligent charging technology that optimizes voltage, current and temperature during the charging process, helping to achieve efficient and reliable battery charging.

The charger is equipped with two cooling fans — one dedicated to cooling the battery and another for cooling the charging circuit. This cooling system helps reduce charging times while supporting battery performance and longevity.

The DC40RA is compatible with Makita XGT® batteries and can also be used with the optional ADP10 adapter for charging Makita LXT® Li-Ion batteries. A large, raised charging status indicator improves visibility, while the selectable full-charge melody provides clear notification when charging is complete.

The charger can also be mounted on a wall and supports sequential fast charging of batteries.
