Makita XGT® MR009G Lantern Radio, 40V, DAB/DAB+, Bluetooth

The Makita XGT® MR009G is a multifunction 40Vmax lantern and radio designed for jobsite, workshop and outdoor use. It combines a 360° LED work lantern, FM/AM/DAB+ radio, flashlight and Bluetooth speaker in one compact, battery-powered unit.

The lantern offers two brightness levels and three lighting zone settings, providing 360° area lighting or more focused illumination as needed. With luminous flux up to 300 lm and illuminance up to 1000 lx, it delivers practical light for working in dark or low-light environments.

The integrated radio features FM and DAB/DAB+ reception with a clear LCD digital display for easy station selection, plus a memory function with 9 preset stations. A Bluetooth speaker mode and 57 mm speaker provide rich and clear sound for streaming audio from a mobile device. The lantern guard also acts as an FM antenna.

XPT (Extreme Protection Technology) improves resistance to dust and water, making the MR009G suitable for harsh site conditions. A folding hanging hook allows overhead placement, while the battery charge level indicator and USB output port add convenience by showing remaining power and allowing charging of small electronic devices. With a BL4040 4.0 Ah XGT® battery, runtime is up to around 14 hours in lantern mode (360°) or up to 53 hours in radio-only mode.
