PENOSIL 312 Window & Door Multipurpose Silicone is a neutral-curing silicone sealant designed for interior and exterior sealing applications. It provides a durable, weatherproof and permanently elastic seal, making it ideal for window and door installation, glazing, façade joints and general construction sealing.

With a movement capability of ±25% and a low modulus of elasticity, the sealant accommodates joint movement while maintaining excellent adhesion and long-term flexibility. It is UV-resistant, weather-resistant and highly resistant to ageing, ensuring reliable performance in demanding outdoor conditions.

The sealant adheres well to a wide range of common construction materials, including concrete, masonry, wood, brick, aluminium, PVC, glass, ceramics and most plastics, making it suitable for a broad variety of professional sealing applications.

Application & Usage

PENOSIL 312 is designed for sealing joints where flexibility, weather resistance and long-term durability are required.

Application Instructions

• Apply using a 600 ml foil pack gun.
• Surfaces must be clean, dry and free from dust, oil and old sealant.
• Apply at temperatures between +5°C and +40°C.
• Smooth the sealant immediately after application using a suitable finishing tool.
• For wide joints, use a suitable backer rod to achieve the correct joint profile.
• Ensure adequate ventilation during curing.

Limitations

• Not suitable for bitumen or materials that release oils, plasticizers or solvents.
• Does not adhere to PE, PP or PTFE (Teflon®).
• Not recommended for natural stone such as marble or granite.
• Do not apply below +5°C.
