PENOSIL Prime&Fix 900 – Spray Adhesive & Primer 500 ml

PENOSIL Prime&Fix 900 is a universal spray adhesive based on synthetic rubber. It can be used both as a high-strength contact adhesive and as a primer to improve adhesion when installing vapour and wind barrier tapes.

After application, the adhesive layer forms a transparent film that ensures immediate and very strong initial tack. It provides reliable bonding to both porous and non-porous substrates and supports long-term adhesion performance.

Suitable for indoor and outdoor use, including low-temperature application down to -5°C (ambient temperature). The product is supplied in a 500 ml aerosol can.

Application & Usage

As primer:
Spray a thin layer onto the substrate from a distance of 5–10 cm. Allow 15–60 seconds before applying vapour or wind barrier tape. For optimal adhesion, press tape firmly using a pressure roller. Full drying may take up to 20 minutes depending on substrate.

As adhesive:
Shake the can thoroughly at least 30 times before use. Spray adhesive onto one or both surfaces (for contact bonding, spray both). Wait 15–60 seconds, then press surfaces together firmly. Drying time may be up to 20 minutes depending on material.

If not fully used within 24 hours, turn the can upside down and spray briefly to clean the nozzle.

Limitations:

• No adhesion to PE, PP, PTFE (Teflon®)

• Not suitable for underwater applications or continuous water exposure

• Do not use below -5 °C

• Keep away from open flames and heat sources

• Adhesion test recommended on new or unknown materials

Cleaning:
Remove adhesive residues with white spirit.
