The Makita DHW180 18V LXT cordless pressure washer is a lightweight, portable cleaning tool designed for everyday washing, vehicle maintenance, outdoor cleaning and small cleaning tasks on construction sites. With a maximum pressure of 24 bar, it offers convenient cleaning without requiring a mains power connection.

Powered by the Makita 18V LXT lithium-ion battery platform, the DHW180 features a compact handheld design, two pressure settings, a versatile 5-in-1 adjustable nozzle and a 6 m self-priming suction hose. These features make it practical for cleaning in locations where direct access to a water supply is limited.

Two Pressure Modes for Different Cleaning Tasks

The washer offers two selectable working modes:

• High-pressure mode for everyday cleaning where greater washing force is needed.
• Low-pressure mode for lighter cleaning and more delicate surfaces.

The working pressure range is 8–24 bar. The stated maximum water flow rate is 5.3 L/min, allowing the washer to be used for a variety of light cleaning applications.

5-in-1 Adjustable Nozzle

The 5-in-1 nozzle allows the user to change the spray pattern by rotating the nozzle head. This makes it easier to adapt the water jet to different surfaces and cleaning requirements without repeatedly changing nozzles.

Self-Priming Suction Hose

The included 6 m self-priming hose allows the washer to draw water from a suitable external container, providing additional flexibility where a direct water connection is unavailable.

The specified maximum suction height is 2 m. The water source and hose should be positioned according to the manufacturer's operating instructions to ensure proper suction.

Compact Design and Battery Protection

The handheld pressure washer weighs approximately 2.0 kg without a battery and is designed for comfortable carrying and easy handling.

A built-in battery charge warning indicates when the battery level is low. The tool also incorporates eXtreme Protection Technology (XPT), designed to improve resistance to dust and water ingress in demanding environments.

Battery Runtime and Operating Conditions

With a compatible 18V 5.0 Ah battery, the stated continuous operating times are approximately 30 minutes in high-pressure mode and 83 minutes in low-pressure mode.

With an 18V 3.0 Ah battery, the corresponding operating times are approximately 18 and 50 minutes. Actual runtime depends on working conditions.

The maximum permitted water temperature is 40°C, and the maximum specified inlet supply pressure is 5 bar.

Use clean water within the permitted temperature and supply pressure limits. Avoid directing the water jet at people, electrical equipment or surfaces that may be damaged by pressurised water. The DHW180 body-only version is supplied without a battery or charger.
